Associate Project Manager, IT

We are looking for a talented Associate Project Manager, IT that has some proven experience working in SMB environments, while using project tracking tools to manage work plans. An ideal candidate would have some experience working with an MSP, managing projects that include new client onboardings and IT infrastructure upgrades, although this is not required. This role will be responsible for leading and supporting efforts to deliver IT projects spanning across multiple functional areas and/or directorates. 

The Associate Project Manager, IT will collaborate well with multidisciplinary teams to ingest internal and external IT requirements by helping to determine interdependencies, develop and define project success criteria. The ideal candidate will be a bright, motivated, professional, detail oriented, organized, and hard-working individual, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicating (written and verbal) with clients and vendors to coordinate hardware installs and infrastructure upgrades
  • Working with a team of Technicians, Engineers, Project Managers, and Coordinators on internal initiatives
  • Working from the project module of an IT ticketing system, using real-time time entry Run Retailer/Manufacturers aging reports and send to respective Customer Success Team representative
  • Responsible for disseminating, tracking and monitoring project lifecycle
  • Track upcoming initiatives, setting deadlines, monitoring project progression, and summarizing project status. 
  • Responsible for scheduling, documentation development and maintenance, stakeholder outreach, customer engagement, financial queries, and meeting facilitation.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Shall have 3 or more years experience leading, managing, operating, or coordinating IT projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management activities with a proven ability to track, manage, and report on project milestones, dependencies, tasks, and levels of effort.
  • Ability to develop and maintain technical and administrative documentation using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, Visio, etc.), Confluence, Google Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.Bachelor’s Degree
  • Exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills
  • IT Project Management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
